The buttery spirals and the great white ring hold their rhythm from across the space instead of dissolving into pattern. About the Art
Hilma af Klint completed the ten monumental sheets of The Ten Largest in an extraordinary burst — reportedly finishing each in a matter of days, partly on the studio floor with assistants from her spiritual circle — and that velocity is written into this canvas. We chose No. 3 because it opens the Youth stage at full radiance: an orange ground alive with spiralling tendrils and a great wheel lettered ave maria. Each work measures roughly 328 by 240 centimetres, tempera on paper mounted on canvas, part of the Swedish pioneer's The Paintings for the Temple, held by the Hilma af Klint Foundation and exhibited at Moderna Museet in Stockholm.

Stretched Canvas Construction
Each canvas is mounted on 4.2 cm (1.65 in) deep stretcher bars made from Australian pine. The canvas is tightly stretched and wrapped around these solid wooden frames, giving it a strong, gallery-grade structure with noticeable depth — ideal for large or statement pieces.
This thickness adds durability and a clean, modern presentation, allowing the artwork to stand out beautifully without additional framing.
Edge Style
By default, all stretched canvases use a mirrored edge for a clean, continuous look. If you prefer a black or white edge, please mention it in your checkout notes; otherwise, the mirrored edge will be applied automatically.
For sizes exceeding 200x300 cm, we will split the canvas into two seamless panels to meet courier shipping limitations. The split is crafted to ensure the image remains continuous and flawless across both panels. You can choose to display the panels with or without a gap for different visual effects.
If you select the framed option, each panel will be framed separately to ensure secure shipping and easy handling.
Examples:
- A 240x300 cm artwork will be divided into two panels of 120x300 cm each.
- A 240x400 cm artwork will be split into two panels of 240x200 cm each.
This approach maintains the visual impact and flexibility of oversized pieces while accommodating shipping needs.
