Visual Presence
Its mirrored symmetry settles a room instantly: the soft blush and grey-brown halves read as calm from any distance, with the small rainbow prism giving one precise point of colour. On the wall it behaves like a still centre — the eye rests rather than roams. Ideal above a bed, sofa or meeting table where balance matters more than drama.
About the Art
Hilma af Klint dissolved a pair of facing swans, canvas by canvas, into pure geometry across The Swan group of The Paintings for the Temple — and we chose this late canvas because it is where the transformation completes. Only essences remain: mirrored discs of white and earthy brown, and a prism of rainbow colour balanced between them, opposites meeting at a single point. The swan was her emblem of union between dualities. These abstractions predate Kandinsky and Mondrian yet stayed virtually unseen until decades after her death, which makes hanging one now feel like being let in early.

Stretched Canvas Construction
Each canvas is mounted on 4.2 cm (1.65 in) deep stretcher bars made from Australian pine. The canvas is tightly stretched and wrapped around these solid wooden frames, giving it a strong, gallery-grade structure with noticeable depth — ideal for large or statement pieces.
This thickness adds durability and a clean, modern presentation, allowing the artwork to stand out beautifully without additional framing.
Edge Style
By default, all stretched canvases use a mirrored edge for a clean, continuous look. If you prefer a black or white edge, please mention it in your checkout notes; otherwise, the mirrored edge will be applied automatically.
For sizes exceeding 200x300 cm, we will split the canvas into two seamless panels to meet courier shipping limitations. The split is crafted to ensure the image remains continuous and flawless across both panels. You can choose to display the panels with or without a gap for different visual effects.
If you select the framed option, each panel will be framed separately to ensure secure shipping and easy handling.
Examples:
- A 240x300 cm artwork will be divided into two panels of 120x300 cm each.
- A 240x400 cm artwork will be split into two panels of 240x200 cm each.
This approach maintains the visual impact and flexibility of oversized pieces while accommodating shipping needs.
