Melbourne Studio
Your image, printed at true oversize
Upload your file, pick a size — or type your own — and see the exact price instantly. Giclée printed in our Melbourne studio, from 80 cm to 6 metres, shipped rolled and insured worldwide. Over 4,000 oversize pieces produced since 2015.
How it works
1. Upload your image on this page — JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 500 MB.
2. Size it — pick a standard size or type any width × height in cm.
3. Choose the finish and order. The price you see is the price you pay — every order is checked by the studio before printing.
The finish
Rolled giclée print — matte or glossy, shipped in a protective tube, ready for local stretching or framing. No borders, or add a white border for your framer on this page.
Stretched and oak-framed finishes are produced for Australia & New Zealand only — international orders ship rolled.
Sets of several pieces
Order more than one piece in one go and the whole set is discounted — 2 pieces −10%, 3 pieces −15%, 4 or more −20%. Each piece carries its own image and size; the finish applies to the whole set.
Sizes & panels
80–300 cm per side online, custom sizes to 600 cm on the longest side. Works beyond a single 200 × 300 cm panel are produced as multiple panels that install as one continuous artwork — 200 × 400 cm is two panels, 300 × 600 cm is three. The page shows your panel count as you size.
Canvas, matched to scale
380 gsm premium linen — up to 160 cm on the short side. Heavyweight linen, pigment inks.
320 gsm professional synthetic — 160 cm and beyond, engineered to hold flat at architectural scale.
Both run the same ICC colour-managed workflow.
Files
300 DPI at print size is ideal — but not required. Add the Image Enhancement — 300 DPI Print Master service and we produce a 300 DPI print master from your file for maximum detail. JPEG, PNG or WebP upload here (up to 500 MB); TIFF, PSD, PDF, AI and EPS by email after ordering. Adobe RGB, sRGB or prepared CMYK.
Want colour or layout changes first? Add the Colour & Layout Editing service — up to 3 colour swaps and 1 layout edit, two revision rounds, digital proof included.
Turnaround & delivery
Rolled orders dispatch in about 3 days, delivery 1–2 weeks door-to-door, free and fully insured, worldwide. Add 3–5 days if your file needs correction. Shipments are DDU — any import duties or taxes are payable on delivery; most US orders under US$800 incur none.
We print content you supply and hold rights to — for artwork created from scratch, see Painting Commission or Digital Design. Wall Liberation — Melbourne oversize-format art studio, artist-run.
Upload straight on this page — JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 500 MB per file. The exact file you upload is the file we print, untouched.
TIFF, PSD, PDF, AI and EPS files, or anything over 500 MB: place the order, then email your file (or a WeTransfer link) to summer@wallliberation.com.au with your order number.
For the best print quality your image should be clear and as high-resolution as you have — the page shows the DPI of your file at your chosen size.
I’ll personally check and optimise your file for professional 300 DPI printing, with up to 16× resolution enhancement included.
300 DPI (dots per inch), which is the ideal quality for sharp, high-resolution prints. This enhancement process includes fine-tuning sharpness, and overall clarity, ensuring the best possible result for your print.
Stretched Canvas Construction
Each canvas is mounted on 4.2 cm (1.65 in) deep stretcher bars made from Australian pine. The canvas is tightly stretched and wrapped around these solid wooden frames, giving it a strong, gallery-grade structure with noticeable depth — ideal for large or statement pieces.
This thickness adds durability and a clean, modern presentation, allowing the artwork to stand out beautifully without additional framing.
Edge Style
By default, all stretched canvases use a mirrored edge for a clean, continuous look. If you prefer a black or white edge, please mention it in your checkout notes; otherwise, the mirrored edge will be applied automatically.

Each print is custom stretched and framed at our Melbourne facility. Every piece is cut and assembled by hand, to ensure the highest quality finish.

Canvas Care
Your artwork is printed on premium archival canvas using UV-protected eco-solvent inks for exceptional longevity. To maintain its brilliance:
-
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
-
Avoid heavy moisture, sprays, and cleaning products. If needed, lightly wipe with a barely damp cloth, then dry immediately.
-
For rolled canvases, store in the original protective tube until ready for framing.
Frame Care
Our floater frames are crafted from solid oak and finished in natural, white, or black tones. To preserve their fine finish:
-
Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth.
-
Avoid abrasive materials or cleaners that can scratch timber or dull the finish.
-
Keep away from prolonged humidity or drastic temperature changes.
-
If re-framing or moving, always handle by the outer frame edges to protect the stretched canvas tension.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about custom canvas printing, framing, and delivery. Anything else: summer@wallliberation.com.au.
Files & images
All common art and design formats: JPG, PNG, TIFF, PSD, PDF, AI, EPS. TIFF and high-quality JPG (quality 10+) are preferred for canvas. If your file is layered, flatten before sending — or send the PSD and we'll flatten it for you.
300 DPI at your chosen print size is ideal for sharp, professional results. 200 DPI is the working minimum at oversize. If your file is lower than that, our free image enhancement can upscale up to 16× while preserving detail — we'll personally check + optimise before printing.
The uploader on this page takes JPEG, PNG and WebP files up to 500 MB — uploaded in the original, untouched. TIFF, PSD, PDF, AI or EPS, or anything larger: place the order, then email your file or a WeTransfer link to summer@wallliberation.com.au with your order number. Production starts once we have the file.
Yes, in most cases. We include free image enhancement on every order — up to 16× resolution upscaling with sharpness, contrast, and clarity refinement. If a file genuinely can't hold quality at the requested size, we'll tell you before charging and suggest a smaller size or alternative.
Production goes direct to print by default. If you want a digital proof before printing, just write "Send proof before printing" in the order notes at checkout — we'll send a PDF or screen image for sign-off within 1 business day. If you want colour or layout adjustments, add the Colour & Layout Editing service ($98) for two rounds of revision.
Always. We print images you supply — we don't claim, license, or store your artwork beyond what's needed to complete your order. Please make sure you hold the rights to reproduce the image at the chosen scale.
Frames, sizes & finishes
80 cm to 300 cm on each side, in 20 cm steps (80, 100, 120, 140, 160, 180, 200, 220, 240, 260, 280, 300). Need a different size, finer increment, or anything over 300 cm? Use the Custom Canvas Print & Frame · Quotation page for a tailored quote.
All three are solid oak, hand-finished, with the same 5.5 cm depth and 3 cm reveal around the canvas (the "floating" gap). Natural Oak shows the raw timber grain — warm honey tone. Black Oak is stained dark for high contrast against light walls or pale art. White Oak is limed/painted white for minimal, gallery-style framing. Same price across all three.
The canvas sits inside the oak frame with a small visible gap (3 cm) on all sides, so the artwork appears to float within the frame rather than touch it. It's the gallery and museum mounting standard for stretched canvas. Frame depth is 5.5 cm.
When you pick a Floating Oak Frame finish, your selected dimensions are the canvas (artwork) size. The finished framed piece is larger because the frame adds:
- 5 mm visible gap between the canvas edge and the frame on each side (the "floating" effect)
- 1 cm frame front profile on each side
- = 1.5 cm per side, or 3 cm total added to both width and height
Example: select 200 × 300 cm in a floating oak frame → the finished wall piece arrives at 203 × 303 cm (canvas stays 200 × 300, frame extends 1.5 cm out on all sides). Frame depth is 5.5 cm off the wall.
Stretched canvas, Rolled canvas, and unframed finishes have no extra size added — you receive exactly the selected dimensions.
Each individual canvas panel maxes out at 200 × 300 cm (single-piece print limit). Above that, we produce as a multi-panel set designed to install as one continuous artwork with a small gallery gap between panels. Examples: 200 × 400 cm → 2 panels, 300 × 600 cm → 3 panels, 400 × 600 cm → 4 panels. Multi-panel orders ship in safer, smaller crates.
Two tiers, matched automatically to scale: 380gsm Premium Linen Canvas for works up to 160 cm on the short side — heavyweight linen with archival pigment inks, gallery-tier finish. 320gsm Professional Synthetic Canvas for works 160 cm and larger on both sides — engineered to hold flat at architectural scale without sagging or surface distortion. Both use the same ICC colour-managed printing workflow.
Production, delivery & care
Rolled canvas: 1–2 weeks from final file sign-off to dispatch. Stretched canvas: 2 weeks. Oak floating framed: 2–3 weeks. Add 3–5 days if your file needs colour correction or resizing. We send tracking on dispatch.
Worldwide door-to-door delivery — tracked, insured, shipping included. Rolled canvas ships via tube, ready for local stretching or framing. Stretched and framed canvas ships in custom-built protective crates within Australia & New Zealand.
Each oak frame ships with mounting points pre-installed and instructions. For canvases over 160 cm we recommend our Stainless Steel Installation Kit for secure wall mounting. Care: dust with a soft dry cloth; avoid direct sunlight for long periods to protect colour longevity. Pigment inks are archival rated 100+ years indoors.
Custom canvas printing & framing is non-refundable — each piece is produced to your specifications, so we can't restock it.
Exception: if there's a quality issue with what we ship (colour off, print defect, frame damage) or a shipping issue (lost or damaged in transit), we reprint or refund at no charge. Photograph the issue within 7 days of delivery and email summer@wallliberation.com.au with your order number.
