State-of-the-art Epson fine-art printers with eco-solvent inks carrying UV protection. Prints are waterproof, scratch-resistant, mould-resistant and fade-resistant, printed in high definition at 300 DPI in our Melbourne studio.

Giclée is fine-art inkjet printing: high-resolution output with very fine ink droplets on archival-grade media. Our giclée prints run at 300 DPI on 380 g linen or 320 g professional canvas, colour-managed end to end and checked by the artist before shipping.

Our eco-solvent inks with UV protection hold their colour for 10–20 years of indoor display. Prints are waterproof, scratch-resistant and mould-resistant, and suit warm and humid rooms. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to maximise life — see care instructions.

All prints are finished matte by default — no glare on the wall. If you prefer a gloss finish, note it at checkout.

Our workflow is colour-managed end to end on calibrated equipment — the digital proof matches the final print within ΔE ≈ 2, a difference most eyes cannot detect. Screens vary; if colour is critical, ask for a proof or a material sample on larger orders.

Everything prints at 300 DPI — gallery grade. If your file is below 300 DPI at the ordered size, our free image-enhancement service lifts it before printing.

The honest split: our museum & archival papers and fine canvases are archival-grade (acid-free). Polyester canvas and wallcoverings are decorative-grade — built for impact, not century storage. We tell you which is which before you order.

Linen is woven from flax — stronger fibres and a subtler, finer texture that flatters tonal detail; cotton is softer with a more open weave. We print on 380 g linen as standard and also offer 100% German cotton in the substrate range for framed archival work.

Yes — 3D textured prints layer UV ink up to 2.5 mm, drying hard like acrylic to mimic original brushwork. Limited-edition textured runs are capped at 100, signed and numbered; open-edition textured prints are also available.

Yes — everything happens in one Melbourne studio: printing, stretching, oak framing and quality checks, run by working painter Summer Jiang. No imported prints, no outsourced framing; the artist inspects every piece before it ships.

Yes. Eco-solvent prints are waterproof and mould-resistant, and suit environments with high temperature and humidity — bathrooms and kitchens included. Wipe gently with a soft cloth; avoid steam blasting directly onto the artwork.

A mirrored edge by default — the image reflects around the 4.2 cm sides for a clean, continuous look. Prefer the image wrapped around the edge, or a colour border? Note it at checkout.

A box frame of solid Australian oak where the canvas appears to float: 1 cm face, 5.5 cm deep, with a 5 mm shadow gap between canvas and frame. Hand-cut and assembled in our Melbourne studio. It adds 3 cm to the artwork's overall size.

Three oak finishes: natural, black and white. All solid Australian oak, hand-finished in Melbourne. For a custom profile — architect or designer specification — request a quote.

Stretched canvas: 4.2 cm deep, sits flush on the wall. Oak floating frame: 5.5 cm deep with a 1 cm face. Rolled prints ship in a tube, unframed.

The oak floating frame adds 3 cm to width and height (1.5 cm per side, including the 5 mm shadow gap). A stretched canvas without frame stays at the ordered size.

No. A stretched canvas at 4.2 cm depth with mirrored edges is gallery-style and hangs beautifully as is. The oak floating frame is an optional finish that adds presence and a shadow line — compare both on any product page.

Framing is included in the Custom Print & Frame price — pick size and finish and the price updates live. No hidden framing line-items.

For single pieces, no — our stretching and framing line is reserved for artwork printed in our own studio. For project quantities of more than 3 pieces we can quote framing of supplied prints: email summer@wallliberation.com.au.

Yes — stretched and framed pieces ship with hanging rings pre-installed, ready for wire or hooks. Oversize works may need two or more wall hooks into studs or anchors, and our installation kit handles pieces up to 6 m.

International orders ship as rolled prints in a protective tube — any local framer can stretch or frame them ready to hang. Wall murals arrive as numbered panels with hanging instructions.

Unfortunately, we do not have a walnut frame option. We only offer oak floating frames in natural, black, and white colours because oak is the most solid option for shipping large artwork.

Rolled: up to 160 cm short side on linen, 220 cm on synthetic canvas — length unlimited (mural substrates run to 3.2 m wide). Framed: single panels to 200 × 300 cm; beyond that, seamless multi-panel sets carry artwork to 6 metres and more. Most Australian reproduction stops near 90 cm — this is our home ground.

Yes — type any width × height on the artwork page, from 80 × 80 cm up to 600 cm on the longest side, and the price appears instantly. Every piece is made to order at the exact centimetre. Walls beyond 600 cm get a personal quotation.

26 fixed sizes from 80 × 80 cm to 600 cm on the long edge in the online custom print service, plus a 10-size framing ladder (58 × 80 to 280 × 400 cm), squares to 200 × 200 cm and slim formats like 100 × 200 cm. Any size between them can be typed directly.

Single panel up to 200 × 300 cm. If the shorter side exceeds 2 m or the longer side exceeds 3 m, the work splits into equal panels along the long side — e.g. 240 × 300 cm becomes two 120 × 300 cm panels. That's a shipping limit: trucks, doorways and stairwells, not the printer.

The image runs continuously across panels — hang them edge to edge for a seamless surface or with a small gap for rhythm. Framed orders arrive with each panel framed separately for safe shipping and easy handling.

By default, yes — equal panels split along the long side. If your wall needs different widths (a corner, a fixture, a power run), ask when ordering and we cut the split to your lines.

One panel up to 200 × 300 cm gives a single uninterrupted surface — maximum impact. Beyond that, multi-panel is not a compromise: it ships safely, passes through doorways, and installs at a scale no single canvas can. The image stays continuous either way.

Go bigger. Oversize art is what carries a room — small pieces float and disappear on Australian wall spans. Our range starts at 80 × 80 cm and runs to 6 m, and every artwork page shows the piece at true size on your own wall before you buy. When in doubt, size up.

Yes. Every artwork page places the piece at true scale — in a demo room, or on a photo of your wall once you mark its corners and give the wall height. We also offer a free photoreal AI photo of the artwork styled in your room.

Custom prints start at 80 × 80 cm. Painting commissions start at 1 m on the long edge. We are an oversize studio — under 80 cm, a standard print shop will serve you better.

Yes — that's our architectural mural service: custom design, multi-panel print and installation planning for full-wall projects (4 × 4 m residential through 6 × 9 m commercial). Site survey and concept proposal from AU$2,500, deductible from the final commission. Details here.

Send photos within 7 days of delivery and we replace it free or refund you. The affected item is returned — for quality or transit damage we arrange pickup at our cost and handle everything, including the carrier claim. International orders: claim within 48 hours of receipt.

Rolled prints: archival tissue inside a rigid tube with foam end-caps. Stretched and framed: foam, bubble wrap and shock-absorbing corner protection in heavy carton; anything over 200 cm ships in a custom timber crate. Insured door to door.

Send the highest resolution you have — ideally 300 DPI at print size — as JPG, PNG, TIFF, PSD, PDF or HEIC. Files over 20 MB travel by WeTransfer or Dropbox link. Free image enhancement to 300 DPI is included with every custom print order.

Our free enhancement can lift resolution up to 30× to reach 300 DPI. As a guide, a 10-megapixel photo prints beautifully at 180 × 110 cm. We check every file in pre-press and tell you honestly before printing.

Almost always — if the image is clear, we enhance it to print quality free of charge and confirm before production. Very small originals can limit oversize prints; we tell you case by case rather than print a soft image.

Usually yes — if the image is clear we can enhance it to printing quality. Heavily compressed files are assessed case by case, and very small originals may rule out oversize sizes. You'll know before anything prints.

You must own the image or have permission to print it — by ordering, you confirm that. We print client-supplied files and claim no rights over them; your file stays yours. Our own catalogue reproductions are public-domain works sourced from museum archives, which is why they're legal to print.

You own the physical painting with full rights to display, exhibit and resell. The studio retains reproduction rights (prints, licensing) unless a written buy-out is agreed at brief stage. Commercial licensing is quoted separately — commission details.

No — edited, sourced and designed files stay inside our colour-managed print pipeline, which protects artist reproduction rights and guarantees output quality. A full buy-out of the file can be quoted at brief stage.

Yes. The base price of a digital design covers print production through our pipeline; advertising, merchandise, web campaigns and multi-location hospitality use are licensed separately, and full buy-outs are available — ask at brief stage.

Limited Edition: hand-signed by Summer Jiang, numbered run of 49, certificate of authenticity — collectible. Open Edition: unsigned museum reproductions of public-domain masters, printed on demand at the same canvas quality, faster and more accessible. Both order in any size.

A signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity — signature, edition number (e.g. 12 of 49), title and date — sealed in its own envelope, plus the artist's signature on the canvas verso in permanent ink. Custom sizes count within the same edition of 49.

Yes — every open-edition work (Monet, Turner, Klee, Kandinsky, van Gogh and others) is in the public domain, sourced from museum collections and historical archives. We claim no copyright over the paintings; our photography, curation and presentation are our own work.

Yes — the Colour & Layout Editing service: up to 3 colour swaps plus a layout edit for a $49 fixed fee, on any catalogue artwork or your own file. Digital proof within 2 business days, two revision rounds included. Printing and framing are quoted separately.

Send a reference photo (paint chip, fabric swatch, interior shot) or a hex code (#xxxxxx). We don't work from verbal descriptions like “navy” or “warm pink” — colour perception varies too much between screens, lighting and eyes to gamble your artwork on.

Replacing one distinct colour with another. Adjacent shading and natural variation of that colour count within the same swap. Up to three swaps are included in the $49 fee; larger recolours are scoped before quoting.

Digital re-shaping to fit your wall: stretching, cropping, or re-fitting to a new proportion (square to landscape, for instance). It does not add, remove or move elements in the artwork — compositional change is a commission.

Yes — Source the Art Image: send the picture and we reverse-search our 5,000+ work studio archive. $49 per image, $100 for 3, $200 for 10 — automatically refunded within one business day if we can't find it. Most searches come back within 24 hours.

Exact: you saw a specific piece and want that artwork identified in our archive. Similar: you're open to visually related works in the same style, palette or composition. Say which when you order; low-quality reference photos can switch to similar mode or be refunded.

The 50% deposit is fully refundable up to concept sign-off. Once you approve the concept and painting begins, it isn't. (Digital design deposits differ: non-refundable from the start, as concept work begins immediately.)

The signed-off concept binds both sides. If the delivered work materially deviates from it, we make it right — revision, partial refund or replacement. In ten years of commissions this has not been needed.

Measure width and height in cm at the widest points, skirting to ceiling, and enter them in the designer — include windows and doors, the tool handles them. Give yourself a 10 cm allowance to be safe. What you approve on screen is what gets printed.

The print itself is extremely hardy — the material can last decades. Removal is generally straightforward with steam (a steamer or hot-air gun lifts it); how easily depends on the wallpaper adhesive you chose at installation.

Yes — priced live in the designer, shipping included. Every order carries its own production recipe, personally checked by the artist before printing.

Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth — be careful, no pressure. No sprays or household cleaners; they can damage the coating. If something needs more, use a barely damp cloth and dry the spot immediately. Full care guide.

Wipe with a soft dry cloth, no abrasives. Keep away from prolonged humidity and sharp temperature swings, and always handle the artwork by the outer frame edges to protect the canvas tension.

The eco-solvent inks carry UV protection and resist fading through 10–20 years of indoor display. Direct, prolonged sun is still the enemy of any artwork — hang the piece out of harsh direct light where you can.

Framing is deliberately lightweight, so standard hooks handle most pieces — as a guide, a 200 × 200 cm work is roughly 3 kg rolled, 5–6 kg stretched, 10 kg oak-framed (approximate). Oversize works take two or more hooks into studs or wall anchors.

A heavy-duty stainless-steel hanging system for large artwork, engineered for canvases up to 6 metres: adjustable lines and rings come pre-installed on the artwork, you mount the wall hooks, and the piece levels by hand — $19 with any artwork. How it works.

Not in person — but framed work arrives ready to hang with hardware and instructions, and the $19 installation kit handles even 6 m multi-panel sets. Commercial projects receive installation kits and phone support as standard.

Keep it in the original protective tube until framing — flat storage or tight re-rolling risks creasing. When you're ready, any local framer can stretch it.
