Title: The Merge by Summer Jiang
A grey-blue translucent figure raises one arm into a saturated field of golden light — the boundary between body and landscape dissolved.
Hand-signed limited edition of 49, supplied with a certificate of authenticity.
Presence
A horizontal work in mixed media — acrylic and ink on linen canvas. A grey-blue translucent figure raises one arm into luminous golden-yellow light, standing amidst earth tones and vegetation. The translucency of the figure and the saturated golden field around it create a composition where body and landscape are indistinguishable. Mineral and earth pigments build a surface that shifts in density from luminous yellow-white fields to rich grounded earth tones below. The horizontal format extends the landscape indefinitely to either side of the figure.Art Story
I painted a figure that was becoming the light around it. Not transcending — merging. The arm reaches up not to ask for anything but because reaching is what the body does when it is no longer separate from the air. I painted this on the largest canvas I could find because the merge does not happen in small spaces. It needs room.Spatial Function
The Merge functions as an anchor in large open spaces. The panoramic format and luminous atmosphere make it especially suited to meditation rooms, contemplative lounges, yoga studios, and spaces where dissolution of boundaries is welcome. The work operates as a slow radiance — it does not demand attention but fills a room with quiet presence. Recommended for environments where embodied practice and stillness are valued.Summer Jiang

Summer Jiang
Summer Jiang trained at the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA). A committed camper and hiker, she works in large-scale acrylic, translating the colour and movement of the Australian landscape into pieces built to hold a wall.
Each limited edition print is produced from her original work using professional eco-solvent inks with UV protection — waterproof, scratch-resistant, and made to hold their colour through 10–20 years of indoor display.
