Visual Presence
This is a quiet wall presence: a soft haze of muted yellows, greens and blues that warms the room without raising its voice, while the single red circle draws the eye from across the space. Up close the woven texture rewards a longer look; at distance it reads as gentle atmosphere. It suits rooms lived in at conversation level — living room, study, calm office.
About the Art
Paul Klee painted Red Balloon while teaching at the Bauhaus, where his courses on colour and form shaped a generation of modern designers — we chose it as the gentlest possible proof of that influence. Working in oil on chalk-primed gauze mounted on board, he let the weave show through thin veils of pigment so the whole picture seems to hover, a floating cityscape crowned by one red circle. Klee had earlier exhibited with the Blue Rider group alongside Kandinsky, and the painting now belongs to the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York. Few images this quiet carry this much history.

Stretched Canvas Construction
Each canvas is mounted on 4.2 cm (1.65 in) deep stretcher bars made from Australian pine. The canvas is tightly stretched and wrapped around these solid wooden frames, giving it a strong, gallery-grade structure with noticeable depth — ideal for large or statement pieces.
This thickness adds durability and a clean, modern presentation, allowing the artwork to stand out beautifully without additional framing.
Edge Style
By default, all stretched canvases use a mirrored edge for a clean, continuous look. If you prefer a black or white edge, please mention it in your checkout notes; otherwise, the mirrored edge will be applied automatically.
For sizes exceeding 200x300 cm, we will split the canvas into two seamless panels to meet courier shipping limitations. The split is crafted to ensure the image remains continuous and flawless across both panels. You can choose to display the panels with or without a gap for different visual effects.
If you select the framed option, each panel will be framed separately to ensure secure shipping and easy handling.
Examples:
- A 240x300 cm artwork will be divided into two panels of 120x300 cm each.
- A 240x400 cm artwork will be split into two panels of 240x200 cm each.
This approach maintains the visual impact and flexibility of oversized pieces while accommodating shipping needs.
